FillWaves® is an innovative Temporarily Flowable Self-Compacting Material (TFSM) engineered for sustainable infrastructure backfilling. It is composed of locally excavated soils combined with Portland cement, fresh or seawater, and the proprietary FillWaves® Compound (FWC), which consists of naturally occurring highly plastic clay minerals.
This formulation creates a self-compacting material that eliminates the need for mechanical compaction, significantly reducing energy consumption and labour requirements. By enabling the reuse of on-site soils and incorporating recycled materials, FillWaves® not only minimizes construction waste but also reduces the carbon footprint associated with material transport.
